Warranty and returns

The short version: we do not take things back because you changed your mind, and we do stand behind anything that turns out to be faulty.

Returns

We do not operate a change-of-mind return window. Once an item has been delivered and accepted it is yours, so it is worth being sure before you order — and worth asking us first if you are not.

That is exactly why the shop is open seven days a week. Come to Sankata Mandir, New Road, Kathmandu between 10:00 and 19:00, put your hands on the thing, and ask whatever you need to before any money changes hands. If you are ordering online and are unsure whether a part fits your machine or a camera suits your site, email [email protected] and we will tell you straight — including when the answer is that you do not need it.

Warranty

A fault is a different matter entirely. Warranty is tracked per part against your order, so we can look up exactly what cover a specific item carries without you having to find a receipt.

Claims come to us, not to the manufacturer. Our own technicians assess the device at the New Road workshop and deal with the distributor ourselves — no being sent between vendors, and no being told the fault is someone else's department.

Repairs we carry out ourselves carry three months on the work done and the parts fitted, recorded on the ticket you get when you book. See laptop and desktop repair for how that works.

What warranty does not cover

  • — Physical damage: drops, cracked screens, bent ports, crushed cases.
  • — Liquid damage.
  • — Faults caused by work someone else has already done to the device.
  • — Consumable wear, and software or licence keys once activated.

If something arrives wrong or damaged

Tell us the same day and send a photograph if you can. A shipping mistake or transit damage is ours to put right, and we would far rather hear about it immediately than find out in a review three weeks later. Email [email protected] with your order number.
